Amazon prime video has uploaded the first trailer fro Vidya Balan's Upcoming movie 'SHERNI', directed by Amit Masurkar.This movie is produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.
This ia the second film of Amit Masurkar after Newton(starred by Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi).
In Sherni, Vidya Balan Plays the lead character as an Indian Forest Officer.Other casting stars are Vijay Raaz,Neeraj Kabi, ila Arun,Sharad Saxena,Brijendra Kala and more.
Teaser shows some shots of vast forest landscape"Jungle kitna bhi ghana kyu na ho, sherni apna rasta dhund hi leti hai (No matter how dense the forest may be, the lioness finds her way)",says Vidya Balan and walks through the grasslands with two police men.The Teaser didn't give much hints about the movie.so we can assume Vidya Balan will play a very strong lead character here just like her previous movies.
The official logline of Sherni says, “An upright Forest Officer who strives for balance in a world of man-animal conflict while she also seeks her true calling in a hostile environment.”
