Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a new Samsung tablet that definitely falls into the budget category. Despite this, it has both Wi-Fi and 4G/LTE-enabled variants. It will be available in certain European markets from June 2021 with an 8.7-inch HD+ TFT display, a 5,100mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung has made the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (2021) official. It is an affordable slate, yet one that runs on the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1. It also has 4G/LTE options, available in some of its new markets.
The new Tab A7 Lite has an HD+ 8.7-inch display, surrounded by bezels that could be slimmer. The OEM has outfitted it with dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, that fire out of either side. It also has front and rear cameras, of 2MP and 8MP in resolution respectively.
The new tablet also charges via USB type-C, has 3 to 4GB of RAM and storage expandable with microSD cards of up to 1TB in size. Samsung has not mentioned which SoC it runs on, although the specification given (4 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and 4 at 1.8GHz) could match the MediaTek Helio P22T processor hinted at in earlier leaks. But the question is will samsung use any MediaTec processor instade of Exynos.
The Tab A7 Lite (with Wi-Fi 5 only) can be ordered from Samsung's Spanish website from now, and will be available in Wi-Fi 5 and 4G/LTE flavors on its UK and German web-stores from June 18, 2021. It starts at €170 (~US$207) in gray or silver colorways. In India it may cost arround 15000 rs.
